SPACE CITY JUDO & JIUJITSU ALLIANCE

Stronger Together

The Space City Judo & Jiu Jitsu Alliance is a collaborative partnership created to strengthen the martial arts community across the greater Houston and Baytown area.

This alliance is built on a simple idea: when committed academies work together, students get better, coaches grow stronger, and the community benefits. Each school maintains its own identity, leadership, culture, and training environment, while joining forces to create more opportunities for development, competition, cross-training, and community impact.

Through this collaboration, our athletes gain access to a broader network of instruction, training partners, clinics, seminars, tournaments, and shared mat time. The goal is not to replace what each academy already does well, but to connect those strengths into something larger.

HTX Judo brings a strong foundation in Olympic-style judo, discipline, service, and community development. Baytown Judo & Jiu Jitsu expands that mission into a growing Baytown martial arts community with a focus on both standing and ground-based grappling. Champion Martial Arts & Fitness adds the competitive spirit, Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu influence, and a well-rounded martial arts and fitness culture.

Together, we are building a pathway from standing to ground, from beginner to competitor, and from individual academy to regional community.

The Space City Judo & Jiu Jitsu Alliance represents more than shared logos or joint events. It represents respect, cooperation, technical growth, and the belief that martial arts should build better athletes, better leaders, and stronger families.

One region. One mat. One mission. Stronger together.

HTX Judo

HTX Judo is a nonprofit judo organization dedicated to developing disciplined, confident, and resilient students through the practice of Olympic-style judo. Built on service, community, and technical excellence, HTX Judo provides a welcoming environment where children, adults, veterans, and families can grow through structured training, competition, and personal development.

Baytown Judo and Jiujitsu

Baytown Judo & Jiu Jitsu represents the expansion of the judo and grappling mission into the Baytown community. The program is focused on building a strong foundation in both standing and ground-based martial arts, giving students a complete pathway from takedowns to control, self-defense, sport development, and long-term growth on and off the mat.

Helping athletes and coaches pursue the next level

Champion Martial Arts & Fitness has been shaping champions in Pasadena, Texas, for more than thirty years. Founded on the belief that martial arts training should build not only physical skill but also character, the academy has become a trusted home for families, athletes, and individuals seeking growth. Our mission is to help every student discover what it means to “Be A Champion.” This extends far beyond tournaments or belts. To us, being a champion means developing discipline, humility, resilience, and respect. It means carrying the lessons of martial arts into everyday life. The instructors at Champion Martial Arts & Fitness bring unmatched expertise to every class. With more than one hundred years of combined teaching experience, our staff includes USA Judo-registered coaches, Carlson Gracie lineage Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructors, and Shotokan Karate masters with JKS credentials. They come from diverse backgrounds—spanning the United States, Cuba, Mexico, Haiti, Spain, Canada, and Korea—but share the same passion for teaching. Each instructor is more than a teacher. They are mentors, role models, and guides who dedicate themselves to helping students succeed. They emphasize respect, humility, and perseverance, creating an environment where students feel supported and motivated.
